Christmas is famous for a lot of things, a sleigh, reindeer, jingle bells, and more. Christmas also has some pretty famous cars associated with it. There are several Christmas films that have some very memorable vehicles in them. Many of them played key roles in transporting the main characters to and from the different movie locations. For our Christmas blog, we are going to showcase the top 5 Christmas movie cars. We will be closed for Christmas to spend time with family and wish you the happiest of holidays.
1.The Truckster from National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation: This 1988 Ford Taurus Wagon took the Griswolds on their hilarious Christmas adventure. The best part has to be when Clark decides to race the wagon on the way to collect the family’s Christmas tree.
2.The Oldsmobile featured in a Christmas story: Old Man Parker’s 1937 Oldsmobile Six played a central role in Ralphie’s encounter with Lifebuoy Soap. The car also causes quite a bit of hilarious grief to the old man.
3.The taxi in Scrooged: This taxi served as a chariot for Bill Murray and was driven by David Johansen who enjoys taking Murray on a wild ride across New York City. Johansen played the ghost of Christmas past.
4.Die Hard’s 1988 Lincoln Limousine: Though many may disagree that Die Hard is not a Christmas movie, this limo is the ultimate reason Bruce Willis ends up at the skyscraper where the main story and plot take place.
5.The 1969 Impala in Bad Santa. This beat up muscle car carries Billy Bob Thornton and his sidekick around to pull off the ultimate Christmas heist.
